This past month Momentum Advertising sent its management staff and top representatives to their annual quarterly meeting in Dallas, Texas. An intensive conference took place introducing new telecommunications clients and partnerships as well as recognizing the numerous accomplishments of the top producing offices. For Momentum Advertising's Regional Manager Rhyse Davis, the Dallas meeting certainly had many proud moments. "This meeting was unreal," Davis said. "The purpose of this meeting was not only disclosing new exciting partnerships, but was also an opportunity for us as an organization to highlight the accomplishments of others. Several people I have worked with over the years were recognized; to know that I am a part of this growing organization is a wonderful feeling," Davis states. "When I started this company a little over seven years ago, this is the type of opportunity and growth that I dreamed of being able to provide for so many people in Northern California. Even though unemployment is still high in California at 7.2% according to the Federal Government, Momentum Advertising benefits because there is a surplus of highly qualified candidates to help grow the team. The Federal Government is reporting that the unemployment rate has been steadily dropping from a high of 12.4% in 2010, which is increasing consumer confidence leading to increased sales.
Despite the struggling economy, Momentum Advertising is looking to open the first quarter of 2015 with new collaborations. "Last Year's sales numbers we acquired for our clients far surpassed their expectations, and we expected that this year's would double what we did in 2014," Davis states. "Our success has opened the door for us to work with some of the largest brands in the nation. Not only will we be representing the leader in satellite television, now we have partnered with some of the biggest brand names in retail. With these new programs and partnerships, there is no reason we can't continue to double in size in 2015.
"Black Friday's sales were down 11% this year to $50.9 billion for the economy. However we feel it's due to consumers becoming aware that Black Friday's discounts were being extended to the weeks before and after the holiday. Overall sales at Momentum Advertising for the month of November were up 10% year over year and costs were down. We feel the extra sales Momentum and efficiency will aid our expansion plans in 2015. Momentum Advertising's goal for 2015 is to expand into 6 more offices throughout Northern California."
